Genetic Diversity and Genome-Wide Association Study of Architectural Traits of Spray Cut Chrysanthemum Varieties

چکیده
The architecture of spray cut chrysanthemum is crucial for the quality and quantity flower production. However, mechanism underlying plant still needs to be clarified. In this study, we measured nine architecture-related traits 195 varieties during a two-year period. results showed that number upper primary branches, lateral buds branch length widely varied. Additionally, height had significant positive correlation with leaf nodes total buds. Number branches negative diameter, angle length. Plant height, buds, stem diameter were vulnerable environmental impacts. All could divided into five categories according cluster analysis, typical was summarized. Finally, genome-wide association study (GWAS) performed find potential functional genes.

Unveiling the genetic loci for a panicle developmental trait using genome-wide association study in rice
Panicle size has a high correlation with grain yield in rice. There is a bottleneck to identify the additional quantitative trait loci (QTL) for panicle size due to the conventional traits used for QTL mapping. To identify more genetic loci for panicle size, a panicle developmental trait (LNTB, the length from panicle neck-knot to the first primary branch in the rachis) related to panicle size ...

Extended Abstract Introduction and Objective: Type traits describing the skeletal characteristics of an animal are moderately to strongly genetically correlate with other economically important traits in cattle including fertility, longevity and carcass traits. The present study aimed to conduct a genome wide association studies (GWAS) based on gene-set enrichment analysis for identifying the ...
متن کاملGenome-wide association study of swine farrowing traits. Part I: genetic and genomic parameter estimates.
The primary objective of this study was to determine genetic and genomic parameters among swine (Sus scrofa) farrowing traits. Genetic parameters were obtained using MTDFREML. Genomic parameters were obtained using GENSEL. Genetic and residual variances obtained from MTDFREML were used as priors for the Bayes C analysis of GENSEL. Farrowing traits included total number born (TNB), number born a...
متن کاملGenome-wide association study of 12 agronomic traits in peach
Peach (Prunus persica L.) is a highly valuable crop species and is recognized by molecular researchers as a model fruit for the Rosaceae family. Using whole-genome sequencing data generated from 129 peach accessions, here we perform a comprehensive genome-wide association study for 12 key agronomic traits. We show that among the 10 qualitative traits investigated, nine exhibit consistent and mo...
